February 16th, 2010:  A quick update for the site, we have a GWTW Red Party Dress finished and listed with allgwtw, be sure to check it out on the FOR SALE page.  Also We now have our BLOG in working order, be sure to check it out.  We will periodically post a sneak peak at what we are doing both for ourselves and for the site!!  Also we will shortly be listing a Phantom of the Opera Masquerade Gown so keep your eyes open!

January 6th, 2010:  We are finally past the holidays.  We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season.  We are back to working on the site, we have almost completed the switch over for our photos.  This has been a very involved project and we thank you for all your patience.  Over the rest of the month there may be broken links and missing pictures and we are working as fast as we can to finish the switch and then it back to business. 

October 19th, 2009:  Okay folks here is the big news/project we have been working on.  We have closed our Ebay store!!!  We will from now on be selling directly from this site.  We are still setting up the particulars and working out the bugs, and we are still changing the site over to the new picture viewing format.  Slowly but surely we will finish!!!  Our lives have been very hectic so it has been taking longer than we expected, but over the next year we will be adding to and expanding the site to include alot of new features, including a monthly newsletter, a blog of some of our personal costumes which will ocassionally offer a peek at some of the projects we are working on for resale!  That is not all folks we have combined our sewing skills with "All Gone With The Wind" the wonderful memorbilia store we have featured on this site.  We are going to be selling our Gone With The Wind gowns exclusivly through her as we will be able to reach a much broader cliental than we could on our own.  We will list those dresses on our site, but they will sell through her site.  We are very excited about this collaboration, and if you havn't checked out her site be sure too.  Well folks I think that is all the news at the moment, we are still changing our format so some pages may not load or function properly so please bear with us.  If you have questions about a costume you are interested in please feel free to contact us.  We look forward to sharing all of our new changes with you so check back often.

June 27th, 2009:  Hi everyone, surprise surprise we are still here.  A busy year for our families seems to be finally winding down, whewww.  We have been selling, but haven't had a chance
 to update the website.  We have been streamlining a large part of our lives, and this website is no exception.  Over the next month or so, there are going to be some big updates and changes.  We have been thinking long and hard about selling directly from our site here, so be keeping your eyes open, there are going to be some very nice changes.

October 7th, 2008:  If you have been watching the site you may have noticed we have started our Halloween Sale, and it is our biggest one yet!!!!!!  We have really worked hard this summer and we are very proud of all of the one of a kind dresses we have finished.  We have also added a new section in our Historical Gowns section for Victorian costumes, and we have two on our For Sale page.  We are now focusing on Movie costumes and we have lots in the works, Gone With The Wind, Phantom of the Opera, Marie Antoinette.  Also while we have been adding our new dresses to the site, we have also been doing some long overlooked updating, adding new galleries here and there and still we are not done.  You can check out our newest site additions, we have added two new costumes from Gone With The Wind, and neither one are Scarlett's!!!!  We are very pleased with their outcome and you can check them out on this page HERE.  We are still adding to the site and will be updating all this week so check back often and Happy Holidays!!!!!

August 7th, 2008:  Summer is over!!! and we are back!!  I hope everyone had a wonderful summer, ours was to hectic, but we have managed to get alot of costumes ready for our halloween sale.  We will be updating the website this week, especially the Coming Soon page.  We are looking forward to fall and working hard.  Check back soon for more updates!!

February 6th, 2008:  Hi to everyone, and we are sure everyone is looking forward to spring, we sure are!!  We are working really hard and have a few new things to announce today.  We updated the FOR SALE page as well as the COMING SOON page.  We are working on lots of Gone With The Wind gowns including a new Party dress as well as the Striped Strolling dress and the BBQ dress and others!!  We have listed one new one of a kind Marie Antoinette style gown and will be listing several more this week and next including several movie recreations!!  There are so many new things we are working on we can't wait to share them with everyone!!!

January 18th, 2008:  Hello again, we are still changing the site abit and fixing things here and there, but in the meantime we have a lovely new Gone With The Wind dress For Sale HERE

January 14th, 2008cont.:  As you may have noticed the site got a face lift, it will take me about a week to complete it all, and as I do that I will be adding alot of new things to the site so keep checking back!!!!

January 14th, 2008:  HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!!!! We are back!!!! The past few months have been a complete blur.  Alot has happened in our lives, a move across country for myself, and an unusually busy holiday season for my Mother have severely put us back on our costume making, but it has all been getting back on track this month, so we are going to get the closet back into shape really fast.  While my move is still getting settled, there is one good thing about it that will benefit you all.  I get a real sewing room!!!  Now for the updates, we have a large amount of Gone With The Wind dresses started and will be listing them soon, you can check out the "Coming Soon" page which will be updated after this page to see them all.  We also now are designing a civil war style hoopskirt close in size to the factory quickies that you can get on line, the benefit with ours will be a more historically correct shape and look and will be more durable, they are in the design stage right now, but be watching for them in the next few months.  We are also starting a line of doll clothes for 18" dolls (American Girl doll size) that will be modeled after many of the movie costumes we make like, Gone With The Wind, Phantom of the Opera and others.  We will be offering these dresses along with doll sized undergarments and hoopskirts really soon, so be watching for them.  That is the news so far, I have alot of general updating for the site, such as new pictures and such which I hopefully will have up tomorrow at the latest.  So another update tomorrow, till then we hope everyone is having a wonderful new year!!!

October 17th, 2007:  Wow where did the time go?? We have been very busy the past month, and have just listed 7 new one-of-a-kind dresses on our FOR SALE page.  A few of these dresses were worn for my surprise birthday tea party.  You can see a picture of the party in the Customer Scrapbook (I got to wear the White Gone With The Wind :-)  My Mother, the other half of Cinderella's Closet is in the purple.)  There are no dirt or stains on any of these dresses, but we are still offering them for a reduced price!!!  Due to some very unexpected business trips a few of the dresses on the coming soon page may not be done by Halloween, mainly a few of the Phantom of the Opera and Marie Antoinette dresses.  Halloween is coming up fast on us so we are working hard to overcome the very unwelcomed delay we had.  The website had a few problems this past month as well, but they have been fixed and the site has been updated at last!!  There are new items on the FOR SALE page and a few new pictures in the Customer Scrapbook!!!   Hope everyone has a wonderful October!!!

September 8th, 2007:  Happy September to everyone.  We did a brief update today and will be adding more later this coming week including new costumes for sale!!  In the meantime we have some new POLLS for everyone, we've cast our vote, now we would love to see everyone elses!!  Also we have added a new page to the side bar that links to a wonderful site All Gone With The Wind that features trivia and collectibles for all you windi fans to enjoy.  We will be updating soon so check back often and have a wonderful new week!!

August 22nd, 2007:  Hello to everyone.  We hope everyone has had a wonderful month, we sure have!!  We have lots of exciting things coming up over the next few months for Halloween including.....drumroll please..... TWO new Gone With The Wind dresses, so check out our Coming Soon page.  We have also added several new things to the For Sale page, a new GWTW Party Dress, a Phantom of the Opera:  Don Juan costume, as well as various other things.  Over the next month we will be listing our new Halloween stock as well as a few other surprises!!! 

July 31st, 2007:  Where does the time go??  Summer is almost over and we have been working hard to get ready for Halloween!!!!!  We have so many new projects to announce.  We will be shortly listing new Poodle Skirts, Movie Costumes, One-of-a-kind creations, Corsets and undergarments, Rennaissance gowns, new Marie Antoinette gowns, and the list keeps going.  We are working towards listing alot of new costumes over the next two months so keeps your eyes open.  We have finally updated the site though, summer seems to have kept us very busy this year,  New updates are on the "Coming Soon" page, the "For Sale" page, as well as a new Gone With The Wind gown HERE, this is the first one we have made and are very pleased with how it turned out!!  We will also shortly be offering a few Gone With The Wind gowns for children as well as launching our "Inspired by" gowns, where we take one possibly two gowns from a movie and have some fun creating an entirely new costume!!!  That's all for now, but check back often to see what is coming soon!!

June 28th, 2007:  Wow!! Summer is flying by.  We have been so busy the website got neglected this month, but never fear we are still working hard.  We finally updated the Gone With The Wind page with pictures of our version of The Red Housecoat.  Everything has been selling so fast we havn't gotten the chance to put the pictures up on the website or even the link to the sale, so be sure to check our store HERE if you are watching for something to be selling soon.  We have also updated the Undergarments page with new pictures of our petticoats and hoopskirts.  Within the month we will be offering several new Marie Antoinette gowns, Renaissance, Gone With The Wind, Phantom of the Opera and some new poodle skirts so check back often, and a big thank you to everyone who participated in our polls. 

May 20th, 2007:  Cinderella's Closet has some new items for sale!! Two new one-of-a-kind Civil War style gowns as well as a new Gone With The Wind:  White Ruffled dress, so be sure to check them out on our FOR SALE page!!   Also we are having a sale on our in-store items (does not include auctions).  The items on sale have a 15% next to them.  Have a great week and be sure to check back often, we have some great stuff coming up!!

April 30th, 2007:  Well we are officially back from vacation!!!  We have spent today updating the website.  There are alot of new things to add, we have added new pictures on our Period Costume page, updated the Coming Soon page, and the For Sale page!!!  We are really excited to announce alot of new costumes in the works, including several new Gone With The Wind costumes as well as several new one of a kind costumes, so be sure to check out our Coming Soon page!!!  We have also started our Undergarments line, and you can check it out HERE.  There is still more coming, so check back often, and thanks for your patience with our rather long absence!!!!
